OFFICIAL RULES

  1. These are the official set of rules for RSLinks.org, approved by all Team members and come into force immediately upon publication.
  2. By visiting RSLinks.org you agree to act in accordance to these rules.
  3. It is assumed that you have read these rules completely when visiting this website and ignorance of any rule cannot be used as an excuse for not following them.
  4. Past Posts, previous to the publication of the new rules, will gradually be converted to meet the new criteria.

General Rules

  1. Treat others as you would wish to be treated yourself.
  2. Any Post, Request, Submitted Link or Shoutbox Comment containing Microsoft, Pornography, Xenophobic, Spam, Virus or any offensive language material will not be tolerated.
  3. Anything that leads to download links at other websites will not be tolerated.
  4. Any Post, Request, Submitted Link, Shoutbox Comment or any other way of communication to this website has to be written in English.
  5. We reserve the right to edit any part of RSLinks.org without notice or justification (including the Rules).
  6. Any subject not included at these Rules will be discussed by RSLinks.org Team in due time.
  7. Exceptions to the Rules in very specific cases are possible but only after Team discussion and consequent approval.

Request Rules

  1. We are not obliged by any grounds to fulfil any request that has been or will be submitted.
  2. DO NOT Request:
    • For Appz: Microsoft, PDA, Freeware or anything that can do potential damage material.
    • For Games: PDA, Freeware material, Console Games or Trailers. 
    • For Movies: Pornography material, Trailers, RMVB, MOV, 3GP files.
    • For TV-Series: episodes of airing TV-Series unless 24 hours have passed from airing date, Trailers, RMVB, MOV or 3GP files.
  3. Subbed or Dubbed Movies, CAM, TS, TC or any other low quality releases can only be Requested if no better quality is available.
  4. We gradually work through the “Request List”, not on a “first come, first served” basis but on the “availability and possibility” basis.
  5. Use Search and read our “Request List” for an up-to-date info before Requesting.
  6. If the request is already on the list, do not request it again.
  7. Requests can be made using either our Shoutbox or the Contact Form at the top right-hand corner on any page.
  8. Preference will be given to requests being made using the Contact Form.
  9. Your request MUST include (ideally in that sequence):
    • For Appz: complete name of the Application (version number is optional) and link to the developer(s)/publisher(s) page.
    • For Games: complete name of the PC Game and link to its official webpage (if not available Wikipedia or Amazon is acceptable).
    • For Movies: complete name of the Movie and IMDB link (for Director’s Cut, Extended, Uncut or Unrated versions also provided the respective Amazon link).
    • For TV-Series: complete name of the TV-Series, season/episode number, IMDB link or TV.com link.
    • For Sports and DOCUs: the full scene release name (including the release group) of a documentary or a sports' event. It is not enough to include only the name of the documentary or a name of a sports' event and info link, only the full release name must be included. The request must also be placed through the contact form and not the shoutbox.
  10. If your request is not in compliance with our rules it will be deleted immediately without notice or justification.
  11. If your request has all the necessary information then it will be added to our request list as soon as possible. This would usually happen within 1-3 days from the time we receive the request.
  12. Only if your request does not appear on the “Request List” within 3 days of it being submitted then you are allowed to re-submit it. Before doing that use Search to make sure that your Request was not already fulfilled.
  13. If you do not follow the “3-day waiting rule” all your previous requests will be deleted.
  14. It is your own responsibility to make sure that your Request is complete and complies with our rules.
  15. We will not contact you if your request has, or has not, been submitted correctly, nor if your request was fulfilled.

 Submit Links Rules

  1. We are not obliged by any grounds to post Submitted Links.
  2. Submitted links MUST be located at RS.com. No redirection links are allowed.
  3. Make sure you Submission is in accordance to all our Rules. You can only Submit Links which are allowed to be Requested.
  4. We will not accept links that have been submitted but not uploaded by our users, nor tested by themselves.
  5. Use Search before Submitting Links.
  6. Submission of different releases is allowed, as also mirror links for releases already posted. But it is up to RSLinks.org Team to judge each single case.
  7. With your Submission you must send a link to a cover picture uploaded to an image hoster (preferably TinyPic and definitively not ImageShack) and if possible resized to a maximum of 333 height and 333 width (remember to keep aspect ratio).
  8. Your Submission MUST include:
    • For Appz: complete name of the Application and version number, link to the developer(s)/publisher(s) page, working crack or keygen with clear installation instructions and if applicable name of the release group.
    • For Games: complete name of the PC Game, link to official webpage or GameSpot link, working crack or keygen with clear installation instructions and if applicable name of the release group.
    • For Movies: complete name of the Movie and version when applicable (Extended, Uncut, etc.), IMDB link, release group information or, if not applicable, source (CAM, R5, DVDRip, ...) and codec (DivX, Xvid, ....) used.
    • For TV-Series: complete name of the TV-Series, episode number, IMDB link or TV.com link and if applicable name of the release group.
  9. When Submitting a Scene Release, a link to the NFO (uploaded to an image hoster - preferably TinyPic and definitively not ImageShack) will be appreciated.
  10. Only WinRAR is acceptable for packaging the file(s)
  11. We recommend the use of RAR container with 5% recovery record included. We also recommend to rename your RAR files to something less obvious then the complete Appz / Game / Movie / Episode name. If uploading a Scene Release, please preserve the original file name of the release (inside the RAR files) and include it in your Submission Form.
  12. For Movies Submitted without release group, an AVI sample of one minute (not re-encoded) or screenshots (of real size) are mandatory for quality evaluation purpose.
  13. Subtitles (for Movies and TV-Series) files are allowed, but if included, English subtitles are required. Burnt in subtitles are not allowed.
  14. It will be given preference to more significant Appz and Games. Various “lower calibre” Appz and Games will also be posted but in more subtle manner.
  15. When Password is used, it cannot contain references to other web addresses. We recommend using rslinks.org.
  16. We will not accept lower quality versions of Movies when better is already available at RSLinks.org.
  17. Movie links without release group name will not be published while having the same quality already available at RSLinks.org with release group name.
  18. Appz links without release group name will not be published to the front page.
  19. It is your own responsibility to make sure that your Submission is complete and complies with our rules.
  20. Submitted Links which are not in accordance with our Rules can be disregarded without notice or justification.
  21. We will not contact you if your Submission was, or was not, done correctly, nor if your links were published.
  22. Please remember that RSLinks Team Members have priority while posting links. Your links may or may not be added as alternative links. Submissions of links for the most known TV-Series most likely will not be posted.

Shoutbox Rules

  1. Shoutbox use is for RSLinks.org website related topics only.
  2. For Shoutbox Requests read Requests Rules.
  3. If you are reporting a problem with any links on this site you must include a link to the post where this link is located
  4. Shoutbox is not for chat use. Shoutbox is for short messages only. Do not post 2-3 short messages in a sequence. Instead, post one slightly longer message.
  5. Any Shoutbox Moderator reserves the right to delete any comment without notice and justification.
  6. Any disrespect to a Shoutbox Moderator will result in the user ban.
  7. Any deviation from RSLinks.org Rules at the Shoutbox will not be tolerated.
  8. Please read the FAQ before asking any question. If you ask question(s) that are already covered in FAQ then they'll be deleted and you are risking being banned.
  9. We are not a helpline for FlashGet or RS.com.
  10. Using the same name (or very similar) as any RSLinks.org Team Member is not allowed and will most likely result in that user name being removed.
  11. If it will come to our attention that the same ban users are posting under different names, we will seek further action against them.
  12. Posting links to other sites that have links posted explicitly or displayed in any other fashion is strictly forbidden.
  13. If you believe that you have been banned for no reason then please get in touch with us using the contact form in the top right hand corner of any page and we will take things further from there.
  14. All RSLinks.org Rules obviously apply to Shoutbox use and MUST be followed
